Pyramid: Challenge of the Pharoah's Dream

Level Three Hints

Inventorying the Blocks

You can begin this activity by clicking on the area near the docks/causeway.

You must determine the correct location of each stone block by deciphering the glyphic numerals chiseled in the corner of each block and showing the workers where it should be placed.

This cipher puzzle teaches the Egyptian numeric system.

  • From the bottom of the screen, move diagonally up the ramp to the pyramid site.
  • Click on the block area at the site to move in closer.
  • After the Foreman’s introduction, scroll to the left of the screen and click on the small numbers etched in the corner of the block on the sled.
  • Once you click on the etched numbers, the Egyptian numbering system is entered into the journal. If clicked, the Scarab will prompt you to look there.

    In the Egyptian numeric system:

    1 = |
    10 = Upside down "U"
    100 = a squiggle like a backward "?"

  • Add together the numbers on the block and write down the total.
  • Click on the numbers on the stone blocks in the background. Find a block with a number that comes just before of just after the block on the sled. In other words, the number should be exactly one more or one less than the number on the sled.
  • Once you find the correct location, click on the rope to make the workers ready to pull the sled. They must be holding the rope to drag the sled.
  • Scroll to the location you want them to place the block, and click on the stone behind where it should be placed or on the ground where the stone should sit.
  • Repeat this process until 5 blocks have been placed.
After having placed all 5 blocks, take the scroll from the Foreman and place it in the inventory area next to the Scarab. You can now click on the blue arrow to back out to the main screen. Find the Isis symbol nearby to return you to Virtual Flight.

NOTE: The inventory numbers are randomized, and will not be the same twice.
