The Quarry

You can enter the quarry by clicking on the cave-like entrance in the cliff side.

There are three puzzles to solve in completing this task:

1. You must find and assemble the puzzle pieces on the ground to form the image of Dendara, the Pharaoh’s sister, and to bring her to life.

2. You must break down a stone wall to enter the quarry.

Scroll to the right of the screen and pick up the pounding ball next to the urn.
Crush the urn on the ground with the pounding ball.
Give the pounding ball to Dendara.
Scroll to the right of the screen again and click on the scrolled map near the broken urn for a clue to the location of the quarry.
After studying the map, click on it again to return to the previous screen.
Pick up the spike and place it on the wall behind Dendara, as indicated by the map.
Once Dendara has broken through the wall you can begin the next puzzle.

3. You must provide the proper tools to the quarry workers to enable them to quarry stone.

Click on the workers in the background to move in closer.
Click on the tools to give the proper tool to each worker.

From left to right:

Square
Chisel
Wedge
Hammer

NOTE: As you click on each tool, if the journal in the upper left hand side of the console flashes, a full description is placed in the journal for your reference.

After the Quarrying animation, take the scroll from Dendara and place it in the inventory area next to the Scarab. Once you have completed the activity and received your reward scroll from Dendara, back out to the first scene by clicking on the blue triangular arrow at the bottom of the frame. Then click on the Isis symbol near the entrance to the Quarry to return to Virtual Flight.
